Technical Advisory Membership

Privileges of Membership

The privileges of Technical Advisory membership are for the tools, sources and binaries related to one of the following GateD Product lines:

1. GateD Unicast (version 4)
2. GateD Multicast (version 5)
3. GateD IPv6 (version 6)

The Privileges are:

Technical Privileges

• 4 hours per week of consulting time with senior engineers on the GateD internals.
  
  

• Availability of 2 senior engineers to attend two one-day project meetings to advise
  on GateD internals.
  
  
• 1 Voting Member to attend GateD Consortium Meetings.

This membership is available only to those engaged in academic and research use of the GateD and associated tools. The Merit GateD Consortium reserves the right to limit the number of Technical Advisory Memberships. Since this membership requires senior staff, only a limited set of memberships will be available.

It is anticipated that the members of a Project requesting the Technical Advisory membership will request GateD source code and binaries via the Merit GateD Consortium's Academic and Research Membership. This membership does not provide any source code or binary redistribution license to the members.

Cost of Technical Advisory Membership

The cost of this membership is:

• $17,000 per year.

  
  
  The Technical Advisory Member must:

  1. Sign a Technical Advisory Membership.
  2. Send the membership fee for the Merit GateD Consortium to:
